about

Original by Tom Espinola. This is a study of the weight and density of four note chords and how chords move through tension & release. This concept of harmony is based on the balance of the consonance & dissonance inherent in the intervals, and not based on traditional triadic concepts. This piece is dedicated to the memory of my composition teacher and friend Dr. William Stoney.
